Bonjour my friends, it has been a while since I blogged and there is far too much to say in one sitting but I'll have a go at condensing what we've been up to.
We have been to several shows, last weekend we were at the Suffolk Superheros Weekend and was that fun. Even Jake got excited on Saturday afternoon when Darth Vadar made an appearance. The sun was out the kids were hot, bothered but very excited about the event goings on and the parents were just happy to get their caffeine fix. There were lots of weary parents who perked up when they realised they could get that pick me up.
We are trialing a new cold drink called Cascara which is still made from part of the coffee bean and mixed with tonic water it is absolutely delicious. So you can get your caffeine perk in the form of the best cold drink going. Much better than iced coffee and so much more refreshing. This drink is hitting London at the moment and just starting to create the buzz it deserves and to everyone who has been brave enough to trust Catherine, thank you, we know you loved it because you came back and told us you did.
So why this new drink? Why not iced coffee and do what everyone understands? We have a new recruit, well he's not exactly new as he's been with Catherine for the last few decades and it transpires that he's a mighty fine cocktail expert. Catherine had no idea this talent was lurking in her great friend. So welcome on board to Sad Dog Fred, he may well be having his own blog page but there again due to his age his page might just be a big grumpy, he's only happy when mixing up some new flavours for the cocktails.
I'm currently in the workshop having my engine serviced as it has been a while since anyone showed me any TLC and Catherine wanted to make sure that I was happy and well. It has given me time to write this blog this morning, while the mechanics away and all that.
This coming weekend we are at a fantastic brand new event at the Suffolk Academy in Barrow, The Lowdown. For all you bikers out there get yourselves to this show, it's set to be fantastic. We are very much looking forward to meeting all the bikes, oh and the bikers too. There will be a very eclectic range of bikes, well worth a visit.
Ooh I hear the lock to the workshop jangling, I'm off for now but I'll be back to tell you more about Sad Dog Fred and see if we can get him to pose for some photos. Au revoir my friends
